@trevordenton37 After watching their first round game, his team definitely lived up to this promise.

@SchwaderZag62 The end of the game was an absolute joke. Kennesaw State missing all those free throws was probably a "ball don't lie" situation after those ridiculous calls.
English

Glad Zags fans weren’t the only ones to witness this travesty. Luckily we pulled it out anyways

These officials are keeping Kennessaw State in the game this is hilarious

@TheFieldOf68 @SaintLouisMBB And Georgia ended the game on a 17-2 run. That's how bad it was.

SAINT LOUIS WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!!!
@SaintLouisMBB drops TRIPLE DIGITS against Georgia and move on!!

English

@midmajorball @SaintLouisMBB @A10MBB Not often that you see a team finish a game on a 17-2 run and lose by 25 points.
English

.@SaintLouisMBB completely dominated Georgia from start to finish!
What a day for the @A10MBB! VCU and Saint Louis pickup wins over Power Five teams.

The Senate shouldn’t even *think* about taking a recess—not even for a weekend—until (1) SAVE America is passed, and (2) DHS is fully funded
Pass it on if you agree

@BarstoolCoogs And the winner gets a home game in Houston in the Sweet 16
English

@CBB_Central VCU has to be one of the most random schools ever to be able to say they've beaten both Duke and UNC in the NCAA tournament.
English

@jeffborzello Georgia looked like a team that had never played together before. One of the least-cohesive performances I have ever seen in an NCAA tournament game. Nobody knew their defensive assignments.
English

@TheJJChiles They were good enough - but they wouldn't have gotten one if they didn't win the A-10 tourney.
English

@CBSSportsCBB @GaryParrishCBS The late season 3-game losing streak and 0-2 against Arizona gives me pause
English

"This is a team that I think, at the age of 70, can get Kelvin Sampson his first national championship."
@GaryParrishCBS says Houston checks every box.
English

@DanWolken Team looked completely lost - they looked like a team that had been assembled for the first time earlier in the week and had never practiced or played together before. Never seen anything quite like it in a tournament game.
English

@jorcubsdan Same. Getting beat is one thing, playing awful at the worst possible time is another, but coming out looking unprepared, confused and bewildered against a team you should be on the level with is something entirely different. They looked like they'd never played basketball before.
English

@coleadamss If Duke goes on to win it all or get to the F4 it will become even more legendary.
English

@TheoLawson_SR To Few's credit, tonight was actually one of the closer games of those 17. Most have been blowouts. Their only two true close calls that they were in danger of losing were in 2013 vs Southern (nearly the first 1-16 upset) and 2018 vs UNC Greensboro.
English

Mark Few on appreciating 17 straight wins in NCAA openers: "Always, always I understand just how hard it is to win a game in this tournament. I think that's one of the things I'm most proud of, this streak of 28 straight or 27 straight now for our program. I mean, you watch today, watch 16 seeds give 1s all kinds of problems. ... It's really, really tough to win games this tournament."
English

@RockChalkBlog Since 2019 when this run started, their first round scores have been: 84-55, 87-56, 82-68, 63-52, 86-46, 78-40 and 78-47. They are one it's basically impossible for a mid-to-low major team to pull an upset against.
English

@VinceKuppig The biggest winner of the first day of the tournament isn't Nebraska or High Point, it's the city of Oklahoma City because the Nebraska fans are all staying until Saturday night.
