Thank you Coach for promoting the hard work of our athletes. We see a great deal of bad on social media, but there are a lot of elite coaches doing great work with their programs. I couldn’t agree more that we need to share the good within the profession with the same energy.

S&C industry where you at? We shout it from the rooftops when we see something we don’t like but a lift clearly well coached gets no traction. Rough crowd.

"Any high school coach telling your kid that they can't play multiple sports is telling you that because it's in their best interest. The second that coach tells you that, you should be out."@gregolsen88 You're not just taking away the sport. You're taking away the memories.

1/5 Listen @pntrack I’ve used a lot of your methods and am very grateful for your work. But Coach, this post can’t be serious. This is a pile of 🔥🗑️. My issues with each statement:
Tony Holler@pntrack

Wish I had a dime for every time I’ve answered this question: “How are you gonna train to have energy in the 4th quarter or overtime if you never push to fatigue in practice setting?” This question comes from the traditional mindset. These highly-intelligent, hard-working people have only known “the grind” (hard, dull work). They have never experienced playing the long game as a Sprint-Based Football program. You only know what you know. Here is my answer to how you can win without seeking high-volume fatigue in practice. 1) Being faster than your opponents! SBF teams are likely one mph faster at every position. The fastest guys in the 1st quarter are fastest in the 4th quarter. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ 2) Being healthier than your opponents. Teams with 1% of their roster unavailable will have a huge advantage over teams with 10% of their roster unavailable. 3) Having more TALENT on your team. SBF attracts the best athletes in your school. Even your best 🏀 players will want to play 🏈. 4) SBF teams LOVE PRACTICE. Traditional teams see practice as the hell they must go through to play in games. Love > Hate 5) SBF coaches will out-coach their grinder counterparts. They sleep better. They have happier homes. They drink less. Tired, miserable coaches make bad decisions. 6) SBF teams typically have a big lead entering the 4th quarter and seldom play in overtime games. 7) And, fatigue never creates energy. 🤷‍♂️

Simple but interesting. The kids who commit to year round training tend to play in college. The “showcase kids”, not so much.

Congrats to LSU Baseball on winning a national title! Here’s what their strength coach sent me in regards to their in-season training protocols on April 30th. 2 or 3 training days a week in season. Non-negotiable. Either train or fall behind. You choose…..

For those lamenting summer attendance: Something @HeadCoachHurst did at Pepperell I thought was genius... He set a threshold for attendance where, if you cleared the mark, you got your name on the back of your jersey. No excuses. No exceptions. The standard was the standard.

Top set of squats for Volleyball from our total body lift 3 second Pause 1st Rep + 2 Reps Performed at 80% of 1 RM This is our standard depth on our squats Hamstring to calf If they can’t get there, we reduce load & work the pattern before adding load I don’t care what anyone says Squat depth matters for performance & injury reduction
