Last day of school before spring break. This is me to the other PE teachers turning away the mongrel hordes who show up in the gym saying, "Mrs. "so-and-so said I could come down here and play basketball."

Leila Madesko has committed to play basketball for Lasell University in Newton, Massachusetts. She was recruited as a guard in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). A four-year Varsity starter, Leila served as a team captain and received All-Region Honors for the past two years. She has been part of HOSA and also played softball, soccer, and flag football. Leila is excited to attend Lasell next year as she feels like it's a right fit for her. She noted that the coaches are supportive, the team culture is strong, and she can see herself growing both on and off the court there. She is planning to major in Business Management. Congratulations to Leila and her proud family!
