@teemaa_5 @DrAlmarielao @cherokeeowl Unsure of what you define as extreme?
What if he killed one of your relatives? Would your definition change
English

@DrAlmarielao @cherokeeowl At 14, a child’s brain isn’t fully developed, so they may not grasp lifelong consequences. The crime demands accountability, but life without parole seems extreme, rehabilitation should still be a focus.
English

A 14-year-old boy, speeding in a car with friends, decides to show off. Catching up to a woman on the road, he yells, curses, and pulls out a gun firing into her car. When police arrive, she’s dead. The boy is arrested, tried, and sentenced to life in prison.
One life was tragically taken, and another is effectively ended before it had a chance to fully begin. This is a heartbreaking case that raises so many questions about accountability, judgment, and development. On one hand, justice demands consequences. On the other, a child’s brain isn’t fully developed, especially when it comes to impulse control and understanding long-term consequences. Shouldn’t there be more focus on rehabilitation for teenagers, even in cases this severe? How do we balance justice with the chance for redemption? What do you think? Is 14 old enough to face a life sentence? Can someone so young truly understand the gravity of their actions, or the weight of spending their life in prison?

@jacksonhinklle You took a video from 23’ attacking Biden then directed it at Trump? Didn’t think this one through.. ?

Which Division 2 program has the biggest home-field advantage?
#D2FB
English

@d2fbspotlight Hard to say, identity of D2 is changing
D2 now comparable to juco - Talent comes/goes after a year
Athletes who flourish after a year of D2 coaching/training are now an easy option for D1 coaches to obtain. Happy for those guys however, tough for D2 to maintain top talent..

What does D2 football offer that you won’t get at the higher levels?

Ferris State HC Tony Annese - Cardinal Rules to Successful Coaching
1. Serve the heart of your players, not their talents
2. Find the good in every player and enthusiastically celebrate whatever strength that individual displays
3. Show compassion and empathy for our players and provide the love and support they need to flourish
4. Love your position group and take care of them like they are your own children
5. Master your relationships with the Jimmy's and Joe's before you focus on the X's and O's
6. Be a Life Coach - Provide spiritual, emotional, and social awareness and support for the players - Understand how vulnerable young people are at this stage and provide the support they need to navigate through the challenges they face
7. Be a Doer! -Spend time with the Head Coach and determine what you can do to help him and the team
8. Be passionate about your role as a coach - Realize that you will impact more people in one year than most people do in a lifetime
9. Make the coaching staff your best friends - You are blessed to have the opportunity to connect with people who are working toward a common goal.
10. Be loyal to the University, Athletic Department, Coaching Staff, Head Coach, and the Players you serve.
