The game is evolving rapidly. Playing champions lacking mobility in D2+ is getting harder every year. The new 'Evergreen' high elo Mid champs from now on will nearly always have side laning power/maneuverability. Aurora is a classic example of a NEW age mid laner.

@IncursioOCE I agree. Yone is not a problem at all. If anything he is weak. Hullbreaker is the only thing that props him up. Once that's nerfed, he will struggle

Idk why everyone has always complained about yone, I really don't think he is a problem as much as hullbreaker is making him out to be. I think he becomes a monster if ahead but thats how it should be. Hullbreaker change next season i promise he wont be as bad as he is now.

I'm excited to announce that I'm the new Lead Gameplay Designer for League of Legends! I've been on Summoner's Rift now the last 8 years and been leading it for the last 2. I'll be responsible for the overall design of Modes, Balance, Champions, Preseason and the careers of the Gameplay Designers.  I have large shoes to fill with the previous giants that have held the role; Axes, Scruffy and Meddler. I've learnt a lot from each of you and hope to take those lessons forward to keep building League gameplay forward.  Axes will be moving into League R&D where he'll be leading some projects. He's been an amazing manager and beacon of stability for League over the last few years (and will continue to be so). Replacing me as the Preseason Design Lead will be Solcrushed and Live Pod Design Lead (balance) will be David "Phreak" Turley. I will continue to be heavily involved in both these areas, working closely with Design leads to determine high level direction and ensure high quality design changes. Let's continue making League the best it can be together!
