If you're running for two offices at once, you've already told us who you are. That's not about politics anymore - that's about power. You're either with the people you serve or you're not. And make no mistake about the math: a sitting House member who wins the South Carolina Senate in November vacates his Republican House seat until next May. That narrows an already razor-thin majority and puts the Speaker's gavel in play. I will never hand Hakeem Jeffries that gift. This is an escalation that harms our country, our state and our values at such an important time in our nation's history.

Finance should be a whole credit class in HS and count as a math class and required towards graduation. Statistics should be required for graduation. Government and the Constitution full credit (not 1/2) and be required.

I doubt guys (specialists) that post they “learned a lot” after a camp. Perhaps the “a lot” is if they got to see campus, facilities, or something. I’ve personally been all over the country attending these camps and there’s little to no teaching going on.

Another 40.1% came through local programs, and the federal government provided the remaining 14%. Altogether, public schools in South Carolina received $14.5 billion in funding, or $18,400 per student.

@coachbell111 In our area (SC), sports resources are not "withheld." All schools - predominately Black or White have to fund raise. Difference is, some areas are able to give more funds than others. Educationally, schools are funded by local property taxes, which creates great inequality.

The predominantly black HS teams don’t lack discipline & coaching, they lack resources that are withheld from them🤷🏾‍♂️
