As an AD, I’ve learned most parents believe sports teach accountability along with many other lessons. That belief sometimes changes when the accountability affects their own child directly.

Maya Angelou said it right: “Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn't know before you learned it.”

Everyone wants to be "blessed" by an offer. Not everyone wants: • 6 AM Workouts • 4+ Hrs of Class & Study Hall everyday • Working hard at practice, conditioning, and weights Then go to sleep. Wake up. Then do it again.

I’m in love with this sentence: “The degree to which a person can grow is directly proportional to the amount of truth he can accept about himself without running away.”

Big shout out to the parents whose kids don’t get much playing time or spend most of the game on the bench. You still come to every game, cheer for the team, and support every player, even when your own child might not get any minutes. You’re teaching your kids what it means to show up, be part of a team, and put 'we' before 'me.' It takes real dedication and selflessness to be there all the time, and your example is helping your kids become strong and caring people. Thanks for showing what true team spirit looks like! Especially the parents from RMHS!

Chasing greatness sounds good to everyone.. living it is a different story. Elite players commit to the same disciplined work every single day, even when no one is watching. Consistency isn’t flashy, but it’s the separator. A lot of people talk about the grind. Very few actually show up and do it.
