Reminder: iHart took a deal that’s worth 25 mill a year compared to Kessler’s 32.5. Kessler has yet to be on a team with a winning record, with a good chance of being unplayable in certain playoff matchups. Lakers gonna Laker.

BREAKING: The Los Angeles Lakers are acquiring Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz for unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033 and first-round swaps in 2028 and 2030, sources tell ESPN. Kessler will sign a massive four-year, $130 million deal with the Lakers.

Today I’m a teacher, a football coach, about to marry the love of my life, and we’re expecting our first child. Sitting in church this morning, we were asked, “What’s in your heart?” I realized I’d spent so much of my life chasing the next accomplishment that I almost missed the fact that I’m living the life I once would’ve prayed for. God has been faithful in ways I never could’ve imagined. The greatest blessing isn’t what I’ve accomplished—it’s that, by His grace, I get to serve others every day through my family, my classroom, and the football field. By God’s grace, I’ve already won. Don’t let the pursuit of more steal your gratitude for what you already have.

@AZSPORTSNETWORK Yeah, I can understand that but I think making sure college coaches are aware is one of the biggest reasons that I can think of. It’s just like coaches announcing leaving a school to another IMO.
