Midwest Prospect Spotlight: Name:Tony Cornett Class:2027 Position:Wing Height:6’6 School:Westerville North(OH) AAU:Nova Village Tony is a dynamic & versatile athlete who impacts the game on both ends of the floor in a multitude of ways. He guards multiple positions well & is an excellent team defender that often gets steals and offers weak side rim protection. He rebounds well & has a great second jump. Offensively he excels in transition due to his fluidity and ability to run the floor paired with his plus pop/ explosion off 1 or two feet. In the half court he excels vs taller players who cannot keep up with him or smaller players who he knows how to use his combo of size/ball skills/downhill scoring instincts to score over. He is a capable shooter & always makes the right play offensively often letting the game come to him. Keeps getting better and showing improved flashes of ball skills/shooting ability. He has helped lead his high school team to 2 state titles, and 3 state title appearances in the past 3 seasons. Currently holds offers from LM & MM schools, and is one college coaches should get an eye on this summer. @NovaVillage1 @tony_cornett3
