@Jfellenstein69 @coach_hadac ...this post was more about just not going to school consistently/ not valuing education. The student shouldn't be punished in your example. However, how one does anything is how they do everything and with the portal/current recruiting every little thing matters. 2/2

@coach_hadac @CoachHowellsWFB Did the recruit know the day before that you were coming? If so that’s a bad look for sure. But if like my son, who only had class till 11 because he’s ahead of schedule and taking college courses. Should the be punished if they didn’t know if a coach was visiting or when?

@Jfellenstein69 @coach_hadac Good points & why I sometimes don't repost cause context is needed. Typically college coaches contact the HS coach, tell him if/when they're coming. In your scenario the HS coach communicates that with the recruiter and/or recruit to ensure they get a chance to meet. I assume 1/2

High school coaches are expected to be champions, recruiting consultants, film scouts, & relationship managers — on top of teaching 6 classes a day. For pennies on the dollar. Some good ones are walking away. That’s a problem nobody’s talking about.
