Taylor Rapp was ‘fine’ as a back up and in a pinch at safety last season.
Ummm… that’s about all I got.
There are A LOT of safeties in the free agent market and I wouldn’t have rushed to sign Rapp.

If you have a former coach who you can still call, Snap, Facebook, text, FaceTime, etc. then you had a coach who put you first & created lifelong, caring relationships with players. That isn’t always the case, so consider yourself lucky & keep those relationships close to heart!

Shared this news other places but I know a lot of yall loved him too. Lenny died unexpectedly last night. He went peacefully at the emergency vet. He was so good and the sweetest dog and I have been pacing my house sobbing on and off since last night. Hug your friends. Love yall.

@AaronQuinn716 Marv went 0 for 4. Nothing was done differently in those 4 years. Those of us old enough to watch and understand, see the same thing with McDermott, only this team is nowhere near as talented as those SB teams were. But Allen almost makes up for all of it.

The idea that McD is a conservative "old school" coach just because he coaches the defensive side has always been a false narrative that never really showed up in any meaningful way in the data or tape.
He literally said it today that his philosophy is "throw to win" and I'm certain people still won't believe it and that narrative will just stick.
