High School DB coaches…. you are influential! Your players carry your words, techniques and affirmations with them for a lifetime. This could be really good or really bad. Get obsessed with knowing the right ways.

@ballcoach1986 @DB_CoachDeuce2 There's an art to it because if you slice inside like a maniac and get to flat the sideline is exposed, that's essentially blocking yourself down. Slice inside and invite contact with the receiver and leverage the ball. Get up field if the ball bounces. QG slice is easier.

Talking ball who want to do it? I am always looking to hear others perspective on teaching progressions! I feel like I have done a great job moving the needle on development of players over time, but I want to hear coaching points and ques from others. Always improving! #Deuce

@ballcoach1986 @DB_CoachDeuce2 I know this question is for Coach Deuce but wanted to join in. I think it depends on field/boundary and surface. Trap the boundary "step hard" and get ready to slice. Anything else I would play as Cloud with exception to QG/Screen, only slice in cloud for those not the run game

@DB_CoachDeuce2 Do you have experience with 2 trap? If so what's the teaching progression for the corner? I've been teaching squat / hard and soft 2 for a while but getting more aggressive in the flat from the corner has me curious about trap. Thanks in advance
