I think a lot of them legitimately don’t know how to coach those techniques so they stay in zone and scream “stay deepest and widest” and “don’t get beat” all the time

Game has changed OG. Releases are better. We win press with eyes & feet. If we can get hands on, great. But I’m teaching my guys eyes & feet.

Too many receivers spend 90% of the offseason training for 20% of the type of reps they’ll actually see. Learn to process coverage, leverage, and route adjustments at full speed. Triple jab split hesi releases only look good on the gram.

The thing I love about this… it’s the small nuances. This isn’t just drilling & killing with some cones or guys regurgitating Indy drills… this is training eyes & watch the hand/arm. Watch how it goes from chest to midsection to feeling that hip. It’s the nuances that = skill

@dbtips101 EffectiveSpeed at the DB Position is about acceleration/deceleration properly closing space. Of course, EVERY sport requires conditioning! I’ve never seen you post conditioning for DBs neither. Your CompetitiveNature reflects your MentalStrength, that’s Psychology not DBTech.

Yeah they bugging. Jamming a receiver is assuming they’re getting to the right position with hands and feet ALONG with the Jam. No one is saying “just use hands”. D’Angelo Ponds ain’t D’Angelo Ponds if he doesn’t use hands
