Yesterday I had a chance to help deliver shooting and finishing activities at Stamford Bridge; with the privilege of representing @ChelseaFC to the 600 fans taking part in the stadium tours event. Thanks to @ChelseaFCDegree and @CFCFoundation staff for organising my involvement!

Better late than never! I have finally completed my Introduction to Coaching Football Course (or the new FA Level 1)! Huge Thank You to @EnglandLearning staff for not only helping with weekly webinars! And thank you to @ChelseaFCDegree for funding my course!

Really enjoyed my first semester on the @ChelseaFCDegree! I have learned so much from the lectures, experiences and coaches! Most recently I have had the opportunity to coach home schooled children with Chelsea Coaches. Now time for a short break and back to it in the new year!

Great experience today at St George’s Park with @EnglandLearning! Meeting top professionals, taking part in their sessions, and getting to play on the indoor pitch was an unbelievable experience! A huge thank you to the coaches and @ChelseaFCDegree staff for setting up the day!

@from_Paddington @cate_a_moore That is a great attitude to have and a philosophy I whole heartedly believe in! It has to be about the players for me. @JamesMoore3095 @cate_a_moore I owed it to myself and to those I coached to be the best I could. I learnt so much about match analysis, diet, injury identification and prevention, etc. that helped me. The awards are not given away (I failed my first attempt) which made it more rewarding. Obtaining this twenty-two years ago remains one of my proudest achievements. For a very average football player it was a challenge. It provided me with the opportunity to prolong my interest in football whilst coaching at Wimbledon, Chelsea and local youth clubs.

People outside of Football do not always understand the work needed to gain UEFA Licences, but sharing accomplishments like this is a huge source of motivation for myself and others to do the hard work and, some day, get there ourselves! I see you have your UEFA B Licence, do you still do any coaching? I am currently coaching in the Epsom and Ewell Youth League and LOVE it!
