Throughout the 5-7 years, both programs have been the most consistent and have beehn producing high-level Division I talent, first-round NBA Draft picks, @McDAAG selections and many more. At the present time, @step_basketball, straight out of White Plains, New York, which is located in Westchester County, has had a stranglehold against schools in the five boroughs, as they have won four @CHSAA_NYC AA city championships and one New York State Federation championship in the last seven seasons. This season, five of the nine seniors have signed to play Division I basketball and the program is on the verge of making history as they are favored to become the first team to win four straight @CHSAA_NYC AA city championships. @LuHiBasketball, who has been a dominant force for many years, dating back to the 1970's, has been producing high-level talent year after year and was the last team to win the New York State Federation Tournament before it was discontinued in 2023. Now, they compete in the @NikeEYB Scholastic League and have their sights set on a national championship, as they are likely to play in the @chipotle Nationals in April. They have three seniors signed to Division I schools & two players rated in the Top 10 in the respective classes of 2026 & 2027. The question now is: Who is the No. 1 team in the state?
