@JaysonRidley410 @Insideblackgold Its more about the frame at 6’6”. Mathis can likely add 30-40 lbs and not sacrifice much quickness. He is also able to control passes at the LOS better

It shouldn’t be political to say sick kids shouldn’t bankrupt families. However being 26 and refusing to work shouldnt get you free healthcare

@EricV38033 @CanadianFir @krassenstein No. They go overboard at times. I believe in many of the platforms of the Dem. party because I strongly believe that were only as strong as our weakest links. In the Marines we didnt leave people behind, we carried them to mission completion and i feel the same way about America

@arimeisel @united Do what i do. My child doesnt fly as an “unaccompanied minor” but United will still provide me with a free gate pass to escort them to the gate & pick them up at the gate upon arrival. The only difference is they dont get flight attendant supervision on the plane. Saves me $300

@wischlist It will take years for cable networks to see the data needed to justify any change to current tv contracts. In the meantime, college football is on basically every available channel in the fall. And more pro opportunities? Maybe if you count playing overseas which is limited

@CoachKDave With a massive influx of talent, there’s far greater likelihood of future TV contracts, which is where the money would come from for more scholarships. There also are far more pro opportunities for baseball players than football players. So not buying your last point.

Two immediate reactions: 1. College baseball’s product just got a whole lot better. Less draft picks + more NIL $$$ = more good players playing college ball for longer 2. This will result in an increase in the already cavernous skill/talent gap between MLB and MiLB

MLB today proposed an overhauled domestic amateur-entry system that removes high school players from the draft, makes college players eligible after sophomore year, shortens the draft from 20 to 12 rounds, and cuts bonus pool from current $358.7M to $200M, sources tell ESPN.
