Everything matters and every moment matters. There’s a reason Relentless Effort is one of our core pillars. Life is about Relentless Effort. There will be obstacles and challenges, but relentless effort is essential to pushing through and overcoming all obstacles. Each moment matters and has an effect on how your life plays out. Approach the little moments the same way you do the big ones. Be consistent. Choose to be relentless in every moment.

Become a winner by how you show up everyday. Being a winner is about your work ethic. It’s about growing. It’s how you show up in the process. You can be a winner and the scoreboard not be in your favor. You can’t control the result or other people, but you can control you. You can control your preparation, your work ethic, how you show up, how you compete, what you put in, etc. Thats why you can’t judge a winner solely by the reflection of the scoreboard. The scoreboard doesn’t tell the whole story. The scoreboard relies on external factors, while being a winner is defined by internal ones. Winners understand, on the scoreboard, you either win or you learn. The scoreboard may reflect in your favor or it may show you areas to improve on. Regardless, it’s all about the process & the journey. That’s what matters. That’s what winners focus on. Being a winner is measured by your growth in the process. Are you better than you were yesterday? Show up, get 1% better everyday, and live in the process.

Health Update: First off, God continues to provide, He is faithful! I am officially checked in for stem cell transplant! Both my Acute and Chronic Luekemia are in remission and we have the green light to proceed. I thank The Lord Jesus that He has made a way! It is the 4th quarter, The Lord goes before me and I fight for Him. “Let those who fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh” Psalms 115:11

"Greatness is a lifestyle, not a one-time achievement.” Greatness shows up in every aspect of your life. It’s not a switch you can turn on and off. It shows up in every day actions. This is what Rise to the Standard is about. It’s about having an unwavering standard in how you do everything. It’s about approaching the little things the same way you approach games. It’s the same relentless effort in every task. If you’re going to do something, no matter how small or mundane, be intentional about getting better and pouring your whole heart into it. That is greatness. That is the standard. Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

Love the idea of chasing perfection. It’s the idea of getting the little, minute things exactly right. It’s not that perfection is attainable or the goal, but what you accomplish & how you grow in the process. Set the bar extremely high. Rise to the standard in everything you do. Don’t settle for what is easily attainable. Be clear & intentional on what you are striving for. Even if you don’t hit exactly what you aimed for, you won’t be far off. Have the courage to dream big & aim high. You never know what you’re capable of accomplishing.
