🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Straughn has named Clint Humphrey as its next Head Football Coach. Humphrey was the offensive coordinator for the Tigers last season and now takes over the program after an extensive coaching résumé that includes: •St. Luke’s – Offensive Coordinator •Murphy – Quarterbacks Coach •Demopolis – Offensive Coordinator •Stanhope – Wide Receivers Coach •Excel – Offensive Coordinator •Straughn – Offensive Coordinator When asked about the opportunity, Coach Humphrey shared the following: “I’m really excited and grateful for the opportunity to be the Head Coach at Straughn High School. I could have never imagined when I took this job a year ago I’d find myself in this role. It has been my dream to be a head coach for as long as I can remember, and there have been a lot of big wins, tough losses, hard work, and sleepless nights that have gotten me to this point. I’ll be forever thankful to Coach Windham for bringing my family here when he did, and to Mr. Cobb for trusting me to lead our program. We’re going to build an authentic, player-first program that is proactive in our players’ futures and demands a lot out of our guys. We’re going to put a product on the field that is tough, disciplined, physical, and exciting.
