There is a new spring sport taking hold across Baltimore-area high schools. It does not have officials. It does not have a rulebook that anyone can fully explain. It does, however, have rankings, rosters, playoff byes, cheating accusations and at least one controversy involving Hey Dude shoes. It’s hacky sack. Students have turned a lunch-period pastime into something resembling a sport. They stand in circles outside school, keep a small beaded ball alive with their feet, post the best clips to Instagram and argue over which school has the best “sack” program. Knowing Kripke, that extra half hour would’ve just been loaded with depraved sex scenes. They originally planned for this season to have 13 episodes, which you can tell by the writing. Along with Prime Video cutting their budget, an uneventful final season was inevitable.

Buffalo made a living last season off of Weak Zone thanks to rookie TE Jackson Hawes’s(#85) ability to drive DL at the POA. Having a mobile QB who can distract defenders with fake bootlegs makes it even more effective when you have a guy like James Cook

New Iowa RB LJ Phillips should form a good 2-headed monster with Kamari Moulton. For a team that always has great OL play, I’m surprised they haven’t been more aggressive for RBs in the portal in recent years.

@RandallSlifer Ep7 was polarizing by critics, but I personally liked it. The writing seems lazy & I wish the Gen V characters were more involved. The thing that pisses me off is how they’re using the final season to set up a prequel following the 2 least likeable characters in the whole series

@CoachMadProphet Definitely uneventful but I’m not mad at the track they went when final seasons are hard I think it was always going to be a final battle type situation but I think they did a good job at not holding onto characters & letting it go full on scorched earth (I am only through 6 ep)

This is partly why I’m not concerned about the Bears strength of schedule. Several of their opponents who won a lot last year(Jags, Pats) will decline, I don’t expect either team to make the playoffs in 2026. Their NFC North rivals also haven’t improved much.
