Simple choice, you can choose a program and let its stature define you, or you can choose a program and let your performance define it.

@LegKickNationOG Me to my 5 year old: "whats the only thing your trying to do when hitting" 5 year old:"hit the ball off Daddys (the pitcher) face" "what do you do if someone tells you to do something different" "tell them to google my daddy"

If you coach early youth baseball, and you tell kids: DON'T hit the ball in the air because they're automatic outs DON'T try to hit homeruns. DO hit balls on the ground to 3B because you'll get to 1B more often. You are legit crushing the sport. Getting kids to "want to come back tomorrow" is YOUR ONLY ROLE. My 7 year old doesn't want to go back tomorrow. I don't blame him. You failed.

Pullside ground balls are the best indicator of misaligned priorities. USA wins this game when they hit two backside bolts and stop trying to do what they currently cannot.

@CoachMcCarry Fair Or it could be the compensation of the speed of the pitcher, so the body rotates violently in order to “catch up “ to the perceived velocity. Either way, which is what we are both saying in a way. So, training the eyes and brain would be the best way to avoid this?

@silkraider80 Sometimes one, sometimes the other 1. If bodies are tired, the PSGb is the body attempting to get in front of its capabilities 2. Or it can be trying to do too much and not taking what the game is giving you

@BMcCarthy32 the pre work is VBA vs approach angle by count and velocity thresholds. Ev/LA charts in advanged counts and spray with 2 stikes. That would silo my arms into match ups after Skenes. Day of, Id like last 20 ABs aggressiveness level, barrell % by count, and CSW zone/pitch/velo.

@CoachMcCarry No you wouldn't. That's not how reports work. They're not general reports. This is the highest level in the world. They're based off the specific stuff of the pitcher involved. You're just saying stuff.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled, was convincing the world a 12-year old needs Bruce Bolt batting gloves 🙋🏻‍♂️

@Romancane Being a pitcher in college from 98-02 was a blast. "He makes a great pitch on a 1-2 pitch 3 inches off the plate and looks to have gotten the diminutive 8 hitter to pop up to RF. Oh that one is over the trees."

So wait, the fate of Team USA rests in the hands of Aaron Nola. We either need him to be awesome or objectively horrendous. Sweet. Feels like the universe has aligned

@shegone03 @DrivelineBB I don't know that those dates match up but any way you slice it the causation correlation rates on the second Tommy John are so poor that you need just to avoid making those assumptions altogether across the sport.
