Players : Everyone can be a Leader when the Game/ Practice is going your way and things are convenient for you. The real signs of your Leadership is when things are Inconvenient though. When you are struggling or having a bad day. NOW that’s your Leadership test !

A quiet player will never reach their potential on defense. You may able to guard the ball or get through screens with the best of them but if you don’t TALK on DEFENSE you’ll never be great. Your teammates need to hear your voice and know you are helping them.

I tell my players this all the time in the summer. Go enjoy yourself. It’s one thing to lay out or skip. It’s another when your spending quality time with family. I try to make sure my players understand priorities. #Priorities #Faith #Family #Basketball

I have players calling me/texting that they will be on vacation and can’t be at practice next week. You know what, I LOVE that. 1) they have been at everything so far 2) they are properly communicating 3) go on vacation, have a blast. We will see you when you get back!
