A group that often gets overlooked but never has an offseason are student athletic trainers. All yea round they care for our athletes, show up to every event, & are here on weekends for treatment. They represent service beyond self with a high work ethic. I appreciate them!

The Friend of Temple ISD Wildcat Award allows the district to formally recognize high-level partners and individuals for their contributions. The Ralph Wilson Youth Club has served the Temple Independent School District community for more than 60 years. The club has provided a positive after-school experience for countless TISD students throughout the district over that time, but the club’s impact goes far beyond the facility’s after-school program. The Ralph Wilson Youth Club has opened its doors to host numerous district events, ranging from Wildcat Mentors kickoff events and end-of-year celebrations to Backpack Buddies drop-off and campus pickup sites. Ralph Wilson Youth Club also sponsors athletic programs that thousands of Temple ISD students have participated in over the years; the club staff and leadership include numerous TISD alums, and Ralph Wilson Youth Club annually hires TISD students to work with its summer programs. It is no exaggeration to say that Ralph Wilson Youth Club serves the students of Temple ISD around the clock. Executive Director Brett Williams attended the Board meeting to accept the award and represent all of the Ralph Wilson Youth Club staffers who have served as role models and served the TISD community. #TempleISDproud
