Le Mars alum Bryan Borchers officiated his second boys basketball state tournament this week. He worked a Class 4A quarterfinal earlier this week and just wrapped up officiating the 3A semifinal between Ballard and Carroll.

Tips for winning games late in the season 1. Play solid defense 2. Everyone is a Rebounder 3. Limit turnovers, don’t be fancy 4. You’re probably playing in a building with a higher ceiling and no background behind the hoop. Depth perception is a big deal Get the ball to the hoop.
