Aaron Eden gets it!!! If I were inclined to send my kid to a Hitting Instructor he would definitely be someone I would trust to teach my kid the proper fundamentals of hitting. @artofhitting is also someone I would recommend! Anyone teaching the Barrel Dump swing should be avoided! #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @low_and_outside @ROXSystem @BLocsports @TheRealJHair @KevinMench28 @RealCJ10 @JLucroy20 @Dutch_Oven45 @mikepiazza31

The percentage of D1 coaches that send their sons to Juco is advertising something important. They want them to develop in game. They want them playing. They know they're good enough to be D1 players, but not as freshmen. They know, D1 coaches don't want to play freshmen. Unless the freshman is ultra talented (legitimate draft prospect) and just walked away from a brinks truck of money from MLB. D1 coaches want to play the oldest, most experienced players. What percentage of D1 freshmen are getting meaningful innings and at bats? It's advertising most kids belong in junior college, loud and clear.

There are D3s that are better than D1s… JUCOs that have more resources than D2s… & small schools that develop players better than big schools. Be open at first…even if you’ve been dreaming about going D1 for years. There are incredible programs at every level of this game.

Coaches: It doesn’t help when you complain about every close ball/strike call. Some umpire zones are bad, it is what it is. Some ball/strike calls are pretty bad, it is what it is. You can’t change it. Believe it or not, umpires are human and make mistakes. But… it doesn’t give you the right to act a fool, demean them, or treat them like garbage. And, do you think complaining about every call is gonna help or hurt your cause? I don’t know too many humans that would actually wanna help someone that is belittling them. Complaining about every call usually hurts your cause and often makes things worse. When umps make questionable calls, talk to them like an adult, communicate without yelling, and keep your composure. I know it’s NOT easy. But you are an example to your players. People are watching. And I bet you preach to your players to stay focused, and keep their composure as well. When things don’t go your way, it’s a great opportunity to show the kids how to handle adversity. Practice what you preach. You don’t always have to agree with umpires, or even like them. But always treat them respectfully, they’re just like you…They make mistakes as well! #BaseballTruth

This will scream what kind of teammate your really are: • How you respond after a K • Your body language when the team wins, but you went 0fer • How you act when others are doing well and taking the spotlight •Your desire to encourage others when you’re not playing •Your effort to sprint out pop-ups and routine ground balls What else?! #BaseballTruth

Hoping I can get someone from @TrineUniversity to help me film some bowfishing content around the lakes of Northern Indiana throughout this year! I want my own bowfishin show/podcast! Take former/current athletes out on my boat to shoot some fish and then sit down and talk shop!

HS players & parents 👇 The transfer portal changed the math. It’s not 17 vs 17 anymore. It’s 17 vs 22. If you’re not obsessed with development right now, you’re already behind. Your body. Your metrics. Your @prepbaseball résumé. Iron sharpens iron. Comfort is rust. Choose iron. 💪

News flash: If you want to play at the next level and you’re not doing something productive 6x a week, you should reconsider whether you actually want it. Hitting 2x a week won’t cut it.
