@CoachQ33 In the event we wanted a more complicated shift, I would just make a one-word that tells the kids where to line up and the formation to shift to (sometimes also having a motion after the shift as well).

@CoachQ33 In simple shifts where we’re just flipping sides, I’ll call “Trade [Formation Name]”…meaning the shifting personnel would start opposite the final formation and shift to it on command. I’ve also used “[Formation Name] Trade” to start in a formation then trade to unbalanced.
