The standard isn’t supposed to be easy. The standard isn’t supposed to be convenient. The standard isn’t supposed to be comfortable. The standard isn’t supposed to be normal. The standard requires that we make a choice: will we live our feelings or our standard?

Attention to detail. This is where athletes begin to stand out because they do the small things consistently — the things many players overlook. It looks like: • Sprinting on and off the field • Listening carefully when coaches are giving instruction • Treating every practice rep like it matters • Following up with college coaches during recruiting • Preparing before games and practices • Moving with urgency instead of needing to be told twice None of these things require more talent. They require discipline, awareness, and pride in how you operate.

We all have one thing that can and will separate us from everyone else - choice. Every day we choose discipline or excuses, courage or comfort, faith or fear. In the end, our lives become the sum of those choices.

In life, we generally get what we tolerate. Never apologize for having high standards. Those who don’t understand that will mock you - expect it.
