@CryptoNomad15 @kieronbutton17 Dig deeper fella and listen out for the nonsense you hear- 'Don't let their No8 past ya", "let him know you're there" and the best "nothing fancy, just get rid" . All that mentally prepares them to do is play within themselves so they don't get a roasting on car trip home.

Too many youth ⚽️ coaches trying to prepare 9 year old children to play like adults. Don’t rush their development for your coaching ego, get the foundational skills right first then build from there. Prepare them for their next phrase in their journey.

Imagine being a family where both parents work full time, pay tax, pay their own full council tax bill, and still can’t afford a trip to the Tower of London or a day at the zoo. Next door, a family on benefits can take the kids to the same attractions for £1 or a few pounds a ticket – the Easter “treats” that are a major financial stretch for working households become “remarkably affordable” if you happen to be on Universal Credit. Ticketing platforms now openly advertise “Universal Credit days out” with massive discounts and special offers, while websites compile lists of the “top outings” for benefit recipients – the welfare state has mutated from basic support into a lifestyle loyalty scheme with its own privileges, perks and VIP access. Politicians claim this is compassion, but there’s nothing compassionate about telling low‑paid workers they must pay full price while funding other people’s beach huts, bargain spa days and cut‑price leisure memberships. That’s not social justice. That’s a state‑sanctioned insult to the people who keep the system running.

@anon_opin Good timekeeping is not a skill, it's a non-negotiable part of representation. If I'm interviewing I make a point of being 10 minutes early, it works both ways you have to show what the standard is (not having to arrive early) but the perception of an organised operation.

If you're always running late for everything, it's not a funny quirk. It's annoying as fuck, and people who can stick to a time think you're a selfish twat.

@JvanderB78 @guv61 Tbh many parents & players are more invested in winning that particular game each weekend as opposed to caring overly much about the league/Cup. If you are winning games more often than losing, and working hard and developing to earn those wins, you measure success on that.

Many couples work hard, but cannot afford to have another child. Yet from this week, they’ll be paying more in tax so that couples on welfare with four, five, or six children receive more in benefits. This is not fair. It is not compassionate to make welfare pay more than work.

A great typically British take on the state of our roads. Very funny but sadly true. Where is all of the tax money going ? Not on repairing potholes that’s for sure. Please share

The FA has set a target for 25% of England men’s team coaches to come from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds by 2028. For the Lionesses’ coaching staff, the aim is 50% representation. This is of course despite the fact that they make up less than 20% of the population - so they would be over represented significantly. All this will do, is put barriers up for talented white people and rob them of a job they deserve, this is wrong and unfair but is happening everywhere That’s why I am taking the bar council to court over their black internship scheme. We cannot allow this unfairness and racism against white peoples to go unchallenged. Please support my campaign if you can crowdjustice.com/case/help-me-e…

Imagine two families, each with three children. One set of parents work. The others don’t. If Labour lifts the two child benefit cap, the working parents will need to earn £71,000 to match the family on benefits. We shouldn't tax the hardworking to pay for the non-working.

Most people I grew up with supported United, City or Liverpool. I grew up supporting Bury. I dreamed of wearing the shirt for my boyhood club. I fell short at 16. This week, I’ve been given the honour of managing the club I’ve always loved. Dreams really do come true ⚪️🔵
