The Red Sox winning the close games instead of continuously finding a way to lose them is a very welcome change from what we got used to from this team. They’re making the plays that need to be made. Hopefully this is the turning point

Barring a change of direction in the pre-game, I'm told that junior Will Stone will handle place-kicking duties for Texas tonight instead of Bert Auburn. Not 100% locked in, but it seems to be the plan.

@EdHand89 Fun team to watch, and had a nice run for a bit, but the pitching finally imploded.

Emotions asides, it's fascinating and a little bit impressive how the last four Red Sox teams have all basically imploded in August including the 2021 season where they narrowly snuck into the postseason. Very curious what the result of that audit is going to tell Breslow. Four years in a row isn't a fluke.
