It's not about raising the most successful athlete. It’s about raising a person who is coachable, resilient, and committed to giving their best no matter the outcome. That's a reflection of something deeper than talent. It’s a reflection of what they’ve been taught at home.

Same age. Same club. One player touches the ball 5000 times per week. The other touches it 500. By 14, the gap is too big to close.

Everything a player does matters. From time-keeping to effort in training. It all reveals the players true standards they have set for themself. Here are 5 player behaviors that coaches should never ignore: 1) Body Language After Mistakes: Do they blame others? Or do they immediately sprint to get the ball back? 2) Energy in Warm-Ups: Do they go through the motions? Or do they prepare properly? 3) How They Treat Teammates: Do they talk to teammates with respect? Do they hold high standards within the group? 4) Work-Rate Without the Ball: True effort shows out of possession. Not in possession. 5) Response to Feedback: Do they accept advice? Or do they get defensive?

Julius Peppers shares what being a Hall of Famer really means. "It's not about how many touchdowns you scored or how many Super Bowl rings you have - even though those things are nice." "It really comes down to who you are at your core and what's in your heart." "Are you resilient? Do you stand tall in the face of adversity when things get tough or do you quit?" Greatness isn't measured by stats - it's measured by character. And then he said something everyone needs to hear: "Everyone can't play in the NFL. And everyone can't have a bust here in Canton. But everyone can be a Hall of Famer in your own life." "You can be a Hall of Fame dad. Hall of Fame student. Teacher. Spouse. Co-worker. Friend." Your character is what you do. "Whatever it is that you do - do it with respect, integrity, passion, resilience, dedication, and gratitude." "That alone will make you a Hall of Fame person. And you too can have a legacy that lives on forever." You don't need a gold jacket to be a Hall of Famer. Be great where you are. That's the legacy that matters. (🎥NFL Network)

THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST QUOTES OF ALL-TIME BY #NFL ICON TOM BRADY: “To be great at something, you don't need to be special. You just need to be what most people aren't: Consistent. Determined. Willing to work for it. No shortcuts.” 🐐🐐🐐

The standard isn’t supposed to be easy. The standard isn’t supposed to be convenient. The standard isn’t supposed to be comfortable. The standard isn’t supposed to be normal. The standard requires that we make a choice: will we live our feelings or our standard?
