@CoachSwit I always thought some high school seasons should be opposite of college seasons, then college coaches could recruit more during the off season. High school baseball in fall, football in spring. No perfect answer, but would be an interesting option.

High School Baseball in the Northeast Has anyone thought about HS Baseball in the Fall then Spring? April 35–45° vs fall 60–70° isn’t close. • Arms not rushed • Better early games • Higher quality • Less injury risk Wouldn’t Fall be better? Thoughts?

@CoachTParr Coaches like you are why sports are overall worse today. Take the 12 best athletes in any school have them play three sports and all of your sports are better. When only 3 play a sport, you then have worse athletes playing substantial roles. Teams are worse.

@coachzblair10 I’d have the conversation, but the other players parents are gonna be there to hear what you have to say about their kid. The kids are required to be at all meetings too.

@RedditCFB Didn’t Saban fire Kiffin as OC when he was trying to do that and be the FAU coach? How is this different? You’re either with us, or against us.

@ToddFuhrman Who cares about ratings. They all have plenty of money, it’s a tournament and they earned a right to be there. Don’t televise it, if ratings are so important.

James Franklin is required to look for another job in coaching or broadcasting, according to a copy of his Penn State contract obtained by FOS. If Franklin's new job pays him less than the $8M he's owed annually through 2031, Penn State only owes him the difference.

@EbonyJHilton_MD If you’re 61, and you have that much equity exposure in your 401k, that’s your fault for not setting up your 401k properly.

@akatsuki3126 @charliekirk11 If your close to retirement, and you are going to have to rely on your 401k for monthly income, you should t be heavily involved in equities anyway. You should be in fixed income products. If you’re all in on S&P 500 within a few years of retirement that’s not a solid plan.

Everyone agrees that globalization was good for corporate profits. No one is arguing that. But it was also bad for ordinary American workers. The two are not always in alignment. What is good for corporate profits is not always good for America. On the other hand, what is good for America will also, ultimately, be good for American corporations. The stock market rises and falls on corporations' profits, but the future of America rises and falls on the strength of America's people, workers, and families. The fall of American manufacturing meant that 90,000 factories closed, 5 million workers lost their jobs, and countless communities were gutted, while an elite few became spectacularly rich. Not only do tariffs put workers first, President Trump's tariff policies are also deconstructing the fake, sugar high Biden economy that was built on an unsustainable house of cards of permanent deficit spending, illegal immigration, and loose monetary policy. President Trump is building the foundation for healthier, made-in-America growth that doesn't leave workers and their families behind. Ultimately, corporations will benefit too. Just like there was a pull back when Reagan took office as he fought inflation and economic malaise which gave birth to the bull run of the 80s, President Trump's policies can and I believe will deliver an economic boom.

@missmayn Let me have the money. At 65k average annual salary, putting 6.2% in each month and investing it pre tax for 40 years with a 3% annual growth rate in salary. I’m gonna have about 1.5 million with 7% annualized return and if we do a 4% withdrawal that’s 5k a month to live on.

6.2% of your paycheck goes into social security. plus an additional 6.2% is paid into social security by your employer on your behalf. 12.4% of every dollar you've ever earned has been paid into social security. it's YOUR MONEY.
