Tesla Semi
Ashlee Vance@ashleevance
Here, in all its glory, is the exclusive first look at the massive @Tesla Semi factory. Our @corememory crew went to Nevada to see the line come to life, as it gets ready to pump out thousands of all-electric trucks. We saw the new cab and went on a drive too. Wunderbar!

@TracesofTexas Looking at the background, could that be medicine mound outside of Quanah?

@BudsOilers This called no catch created a domino effect that cost Houston Bum, then years of bad to average, then good to great with Pardee and then…. I miss the Oilers

@RealSkipBayless I just finished this season coaching my HS team in Bovina Texas that backed into the play offs as a 4th place team and we beat a 10-0 team first round and another team second round that beat us by 40 the first time we played them. It’s football.

@AmandaMAtwell A long time ago I had a kid get beat in the state championship singles match in Tennis by a kid from Spain. My kid was the best 2A player that year in Texas but he wasn’t better than the dude from Spain.

@colebankertv Bottom line. Tech got good too fast and now they are trying to derail the momentum because no one in charge of college football wants to see a small market team at the top. It’s not good for ratings or merch sales and that’s what drives college football.

Woah.
#TexasTech AD Kirby Hocutt just announced that starting this week, the first time a tortilla is thrown on the field at Jones AT&T Stadium, there will be a warning... the second time, a 15-yard penalty AND a $100,000 fine.

@rogerfritz @johnehoover Add Arkansas to this take. They were always in the mix as a top tier program in the old southwest conference. Since they joined the SEC they are mostly irrelevant
English

@johnehoover Oklahoma is SEC Nebraska.
They are at the start of their slide into irrelevance. They just don't know it yet.

“The Big 12’s unprompted response is unprofessional, unacademic, unappreciative, and sophomoric — frankly, one of the many reasons that Joe Castiglione and the Sooners have long wanted out of the league.”

@SECUnfiltered @CPhilly19 @ReeceCreative_ History repeats itself. Arkansas was a powerhouse playing in the old southwest conference. Arkansas is now an afterthought in the SEC. Same thing for OU.

@TroyMooney In the panhandle we would meet at a halfway point usually an hour drive one way for each coach and sometimes longer.

Getting to breakdown film at home hopefully improves quality of life for High School coaches. Back in 1990s, after driving cross town to share game film video cassettes, we met all day Saturday to break down film. Sometimes Sundays after a loss. 😀

Home office is all setup! A lot of Hudl breakdowns are going to take place in this room

@TracesofTexas I’m pretty sure that’s Fergs Cafe in Mi am uh. Also home of the Cow Calling Contest!

The kitchen crew in a hotel in Miami, Texas circa 1900. I like the fact that a couple of them are actually smiling but what I like even more is that old stove and the array of pots and pans etc ... on display. Really fabulous. Miami is way up in the Texas panhandle. It's a town of abut 500 or so and it is the county seat of Roberts County. By the way, you get extra Texas bonus points if you know how to pronounce "Miami" the way they pronounce it there. 😃

@TracesofTexas Road that sucker when I was 10 years old with an older brother. That first drop I almost passed out. No seat belts back then.

It was almost 20 years ago, in 2005, that Astroworld closed for the final time. This is the Texas Cyclone, probably the best roller coaster in Texas history. I have several humorous stories about this beast. The first time I rode it, when I was about 16 years old, was one of the most thrilling rides of my life. My father ---- who served two tours of duty in Vietnam ---- screamed like a little boy. He denied it afterward, but we all knew the truth.
