@CarlsBeef @MonMornMahoney Nico is on pace with last year on a lot numerical stats (doubles, RBIs, SBs etc) but incredibly behind in avg, slug and OBP) Does that indicate the fact that he has a decent barrel % / hard hit rate? If so how optimistic are you that he can lean back to the mean in the 2nd half?

@CarlsBeef @MonMornMahoney How do we get Mo more consistent ABs? Best homegrown bat to ball prospect in a long time. The only way out of a slump is to give him the opportunity to adjust back. With Conforto hot and Shaw needing ABs as well, a consistent pathway seems unlikely

@CarlsBeef At what point did we change from being pronation heavy (Lester, Hendricks, Arrieta (especially 15/16)) to much more supination heavy (Steele, Boyd, Horton). With that why are we surprised about the rise of injuries? I’m all for a diverse staff, but the change seems purposeful.
