Working on opposite timing in freestyle sprint swimming. Delaying the recovery by adding resistance with the propeller and adding speed in the propulsion phase by adding a weight in the pull. Challenging the timing by amplifying the hardest parts #swimtraining #sprintswimming

Swimming folks, This is a big weekend for College Swimming. It'll be fun to watch, but it's a lot more than that. The next evolution of the sport, at the Collegiate level, needs to be an extension of the season's story beyond just what traditionally happens in February and March. We're seeing that this weekend. We're finally working as a community to create a better product and not just hoping that our stale product miraculously gets picked up by ESPN. Watch a meet this weekend. Engage with swimming content this weekend. GO TO A MEET THIS WEEKEND. Let's show the "powers that be" that we're moving and shaking. It's good for the sport.

During aerobic work, focusing on body position and alignment by moving the puboy further away from the center of balance. By restricting the stroke count the swimmers are forced to pay better attention to their alignment, to meet that same stroke count #swimcoach #swimtraining

@bobbygunt Thank you for your answer! Is it then like a step test, or only the highest value and the end? Because what does it mean if it says 17 or 20 mmol? It says more lactate, but is that better?

@Coach_Ardi Set: (ea 100 has goal time for each swimmer) 2x 100 @ 60% 2x 100 @ 70% 2x 100 @ 80% 2x 100 @ 90 % 1x 75 @ MAX Simple answer is to help me periodize their season. It's 2 - 3 years process, we'll test them at the end of each 2 cycle super compensation periods this season.
