@The_Coach_A That has struck me over the past few years. I could put “stuff” on paper but then the “playbook” was too much. I think starting out with the idea (in hs football) of what can i realistically teach? All of the sudden, the “playbook” could be executed.

Two things here: 1) From multiple sources, Saban 100% took over DB drills & meetings. Highest paid GA in football was the Bama DB coach. 😂 2) Clinicing is such a vital tool to grow as a coach. There are enough guys that can draw & memorize playbook material, but it is what you do in front of players in the classroom & on the field that is the great separator for elite coaches. CAN YOU TEACH?!
