You think you know the best way to coach the game but you don't. Even you will disagree with you in 5 years...

Some people say that both American and Canadian media have been leaning heavily into negative stories about Canada lately. You guys can see it in Canadian headlines that focus on economic slowdowns, political drama, or social tensions, while barely mentioning Canada’s new trade agreements, rising global trust, or the fact that many international partners see Canada as a stable, reliable leader. When Canadian outlets repeat these 'gloomy' narratives, it unintentionally supports the U.S. media’s storyline that Canada is “struggling.” For example, some Canadian news segments highlight job losses without EVER mentioning gains in other sectors, or they amplify political scandals while ignoring major diplomatic wins. This creates a really distorted picture that benefits certain voices in the U.S. who want to believe they’re “winning” against Canada, even though the U.S. is facing terribly serious challenges right now. Canadians shouldn’t let this shake their confidence.... - Our country has incredibly strong alliances, securing new economic opportunities, and a mapped out long‑term strategy for total stability. Part of modern economic war, like the one were in right now, is the 'information war' — and sometimes the loudest stories aren’t the most accurate. So keep calm, you incredible Canadians, stay proud, and trust that the adults in the room are guiding Canada toward an incredible future. If you’re looking for wins, and we all are, remember that not every victory makes the front page. Some of Canada’s strongest successes are happening quietly, and they will shape a bright future for all of us. Stay amazing and stay tough, you awesome Canucks, We got this. 🇨🇦 #canpoli #onpoli #abpoli #Canada

If you’re a coach and you trash-talk kids before the game or pull some type of “intimidation” antics, I automatically assume you’re a clown or probably never played football. Your glory days are over. Be an example to the kids you coach. Do the right thing, teach them the game, and show them what sportsmanship looks like.

It was the middle of the night, at about 1.30am, when Norway lost to England. Yet thousands of Norwegians went to the Palace in Oslo and celebrated with one final Viking row. They did not riot. They did not burn cars. They did not smash bus stops or glass windows of shops. They smiled. The laughed. They saw the positive in their performance. They celebrated their heritage. They were proud of who they have been in the past and who they are today. Norway might be out of the World Cup 2026 but they are in our hearts. In the last three weeks, I think we have all fallen a little bit in love with Norwegians.

This post is likely not gonna get many views but as a Canadian I don’t have a problem talking about American politics and talking negatively about your president. Canada is a “really nice apartment over a meth lab” quote from Robin Williams. Who here agrees Canada is allowed a voice in American politics? The administration threatened our sovereignty and treated us like shit. We have every reason to be angry. 🇨🇦

1960s: We were told the world would run out of oil within 15 years. 1970s: An imminent ice age was supposedly just around the corner. 1980s: Acid rain was expected to devastate forests and farmland. 1990s: The ozone crisis was portrayed as an unstoppable catastrophe. 2000s: Predictions claimed the polar ice would disappear within a couple of decades. Many of those timelines never unfolded the way they were originally presented. Yet one thing kept growing: new regulations, higher costs, and bigger tax burdens for ordinary people. It’s a reminder that dramatic predictions deserve scrutiny not blind acceptance.

We cancelled a planned trip to Florida in the winter of 2025 and another that summer to New York City. Not planning to return anytime soon. I hear a LOT of other Canadian have done the same. You?

“Either you’re coaching it or allowing it. “ The most accurate statement ever made in coaching history. Doesn’t matter the sport. Doesn’t matter the level. Every standard, every habit, every action is either being coached or being allowed.

The smartest person in the room is usually the one still asking questions. The people who intimidate me most aren't the ones with all the answers. They're the ones who never stop asking questions.
