Have to share this. THIS is the problem with our society! This guy who’s never coached before told me nobody coaches floor balance anymore. I give him video of me teaching floor balance. Blocked🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️😂 Our society hates actual facts anymore, especially when it shows us wrong🙄

Been a fan of Brogan's for years and have always thought he would be a great fit for the Tommies. He is skilled, physically and mentally tough, and knows how to play.

14 years ago my Allie was in 5th grade and was playing for Marshall. Fast forward to today and Allie was coaching against Marshall in the opening round @ state. The only thing that never changes is Marshall Coach Dan Westby is arguably the best coach of any sport or team in MN!

@streethistory @CoachDre3000 @CoachDanTharp Changes like this have to be presented to MSHSL either through the coaches association, a group of AD's, or a combination of those groups working together. It goes through a lengthy process of being presented to member schools and yes eventually the board would have to approve.

SD does the Sodak 16 and it’s a huge hit. Minnesota should adopt it for all four classes.

@Coach_Critch_Jr @CoachDre3000 @CoachDanTharp BSM has lost to Orono 4 straight years now (at least) in Sections, so 🤷. TG being in the Becker section is odd but Fridley also in that section.

@CoachDre3000 @streethistory @CoachDanTharp And Bemidji is AAAA now they were not when it was voted down (I believe) a few years ago.

@Coach_Critch_Jr @streethistory @CoachDanTharp Don’t forget Owatonna in that group 😉. Those guys & their lush coach buses 😆 I’d say there are less outliers in AAA which is why it’s more doable. Sure Fergus to Winona isn’t ideal but what are the real odds that happens 🤷🏽‍♂️

@CoachDre3000 @streethistory @CoachDanTharp Its 1-64 location is not as big of deal. Plus how long can DeLasalle, TG, and BSM play in 3 separate sections while being less than 20 minutes a part. 😂

@Coach_Critch_Jr @streethistory @CoachDanTharp I don’t think anything could get the larger enrollment or private AAAs to opt up to AAAA. Look at their geo location & what section they’d get assigned to, not happening. The “outstate” AAA teams travel all over the place for nonconference games willingly, they can handle 1 game

@CoachDre3000 @streethistory @CoachDanTharp I did not say it could not be done! If they voted it down for AAAA with Moorhead, Brainerd, and Duluth East as the outliers it's not happening in AAA. 😂

@Coach_Critch_Jr @streethistory @CoachDanTharp This year we played teams in AAA from section 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6. Last year we played 2 teams from section 7. The travel excuse is 🗑️. Those outstate teams are always looking for games anywhere.

@CoachDre3000 @streethistory @CoachDanTharp If you seeded 1-64 in AAAA I'm thinking the top AAA schools would join Cretin Derheim Hall and opt up to be a part of it. Too many outstate teams in AAA for 1-64. I am not saying it cannot be done, just know the reality of the argument that will be released against it.

@streethistory @CoachDanTharp Outside of last year where AAA was at its absolute best there are only 4 teams year over in AAA that can play with the top 15-20 AAAA teams

My daughter snapped a picture of me at my nephew's hockey game and captioned it "basketball coach at a hockey rink." I could not agree more the leg room was terrible! 😂

At state hockey watching my nephew and this came up on the Jumbotron. A very deserving honor for an incredible teammate. As Yusuf goes forward and looks for a career, I have been encouraging him to look at coaching. He would be a natural!

I understand your point of view and it’s solid, but when your league is only 12 games and all of those games are on the back end of the season, you’re pretty much making it about the end of the season run. And if that’s big value, then I will change my stance. For me, it’s the full season. And one of these teams has a really bad loss, and it’s the team with the worst overall record, the other team has the better résumé

Not everyone schedules the same way. Hopkins (Tartan, DeLasalle, TG, Eagan, Mankato East) vs Buffalo (2 ranked AA teams). Plus Buffalo only beat Saint Louis Park by 4.
