If you know me, you know I love the game! I love the game to the point where I have to give it back. A lot of folks want to teach these kids goofy shit and things that won’t work in the game.I’m going to criticize and critique you until we understand how to break the defender down! I’m here to make or break you! S/o @drobalwayzopen , @the_antoine_wesley , and @coachwvde . We are building something special right here in DFW. If you truly care about taking the next step, you know who to call. By the way, if you can’t take coaching, you won’t make it over here! Let’s get it.

A good Coordinator isn’t scared to run the same play back to back if it’s working. Drew Cronic did this 25 times last season! He dialed up Inside Zone Triple for 17 yards and then called it again for 14 yards⬇️

Had the honor of speaking to the @NDFootball team about the importance of Special Teams, the NFL, and what it means for me to create evidence in everything you do

Amazing lesson here for athletes & coaches from all pro Davante Adams “Don’t get caught up in drills on Instagram.” Keep it simple, keep it effective, hammer fundamentals… a lesson applicable to athletes of ALL sports

Patrick Mahomes’ training with @bobbystroupe is some of the BEST examples of training showing up in what he does in games

I've never been big on scripting the opening drive. I get it. Test formations. Gather info. But here's what I can't get past: If my best play just got 8 yards, I'm calling it again. I don't need 12 more plays to "set something up." I'd rather script answers to their adjustments than run a predetermined list. To each his own.

There’s two types of coaches in this game: 1️⃣ The Developers They love the grind. They see a raw 10th grader and think, “Give me two years.” They build habits, mindset, discipline, confidence. They don’t just coach talent — they build it. 2️⃣ The Flex Coaches They want the 4-star already polished. They post the offers. They celebrate the wins. But they skip the ugly stages the drops, the bad footwork, the immaturity, the weight room growth. Here’s the truth though… Real ones develop. And when development turns into production? That’s when you flex. The best coaches I’ve seen don’t chase finished products. They create them. So the real question isn’t which one are you… It’s which one are your players becoming because of you? Are they better after a season with you? Stronger mentally? More disciplined? More accountable? That’s development.

Coaching QBs will expose you fast. You find out fast if you did your job. Great QB play comes from shared clarity: Same language. Same answers. Same thoughts. Slow down. Get aligned. Play to his strengths.

Offensive coordinators, I'm about to give you some defensive game. If a defense is sitting in two-high shells against the run, they are short a gap inside. Their best options to combat that gap vulnerability are to stunt the DL into adjacent gaps or cross-dog the linebackers to cancel gaps. Why don't any of you run gap schemes and pull offensive linemen? If defenses cancel an interior gap, create a new one on the edge with a puller and force the corners into the run fit. I'm tired of seeing OCs call inside zone right into the blitz. The game is won and first down.

EXPLAINING LANDMARKS OF THE RB ON ZONE PLAYS. WHAT IM CALLING “ INSIDE ZONE” CONFUSES THE BLOCKERS AS TIGHT ZONE, MID/WIDE ZONE OR DUO ARE EASIER TO TEACH THE BLOCKING TECHS. THIS GRAY AREA POA BY THE RB IS CONFUSING RE WHAT TO TEACH YOUR LINEMEN. RUN DUO AT THE BUTT OF THE G.
