There is no language for what this man is carrying. Former Governor Kiraitu Murungi sits alone facing his daughter Anita Kendi. She was 24 years old at the time of her passing on May 14, after a brief illness. Every parent makes one silent prayer their entire life. That their children never sit where he is sitting today. That prayer was not answered for him. There is nothing politics, power, position or any achievement in this life can do for a father in this pew. He is simply a man. Facing the unbearable. May God give him and his family a grace that only Heaven can provide. Because nothing on this earth is sufficient for this moment. Rest in peace Anita Kendi. Your father's love for you is visible from here. 😢

Hello guys. Please help. Please . I try so hard not to fight with @KNH_hospital online, but it feels impossible. My heart is completely shattered as I type this—I feel defeated. I just found out about Brian’s case at KNH. He was shot in the spine last year in Karatina, Nyeri, and has been admitted for over seven months now. Brian is paralyzed. At the time, we negotiated with KNH, and they procured a metal implant meant to aid his recovery but they never did the surgery. His aunt called me recently, and I was heartbroken. Brian is an orphan, and his aunt, who struggles to make ends meet, works as a mama fua just to afford visiting him and taking care of him. Brian is rotting away. His body is covered in sores, a bullet is still lodged inside his chest, and KNH has refused to operate, saying they need to wait for the sores to heal. But it’s been over seven months. Brian is rotting away, and his medical bill has now hit a million shillings.
@KNH_hospital, are you just waiting for him to waste away completely? And he’s not the only one. We have two other gunshot patients at KNH. One of them was just informed that SHA will stop covering his treatment on Monday, even though he’s supposed to stay for six weeks. SHA has only covered him for one week. Then there’s George Katua, a 17-year-old waiting to be admitted for his final surgery to remove his stoma bag so he can live a normal life. His family is struggling to afford the bags he needs every day. I don’t even know what angers me more , the sheer cruelty with which KNH treats its patients or police brutality that put these people in this situation in the first place. You can see Brian’s legs here rotting away and he also has sores on his back that’s rotting too and can’t even sleep well.
