Remember when it was UK it don’t matter who the coach is it’s UK, we will get players no matter what? Well no matter what is here and still, I said it then and say it now, players choose a school for the coach not the name of the school. I was told I was wrong though 🤷🏼‍♂️

Recruiting isn’t about history, the school or the coach. It’s all about the $$$$$. Every year players will go to the portal to force schools to bid for their services. Should be a cap.

I get you like Mack, but he was not that good for you all. Again, career to career was not the point of the original post, it was strictly comparing their times at UK and UL.

@RealVilleFans Well for starters he has publicly bashed adidas and their gear. We are adidas’ largest contract. He shows immaturity in games. He has shown being uncoachable. The last time number 1 HS player actually won the Tourney was 2012, Anthony Davis. Fit is everything. He may not fit!

Maybe his career at UL you could argue, but careers, aren’t in the same lane.

@Coach_OB1 Does it matter? UK was good because they could pay players before everyone else could. Coaches don’t recruit anymore they negotiate salaries.

@kysilvercreek No but you are changing up the context of my original post. I said they don’t come to UK bc it’s UK they came to UK bc of Cal, Tubby, Rick, etc. No coach sits in the home of parents and sells the school, they sell themselves.
