I’m at the IHSAA board meeting in Boise today. State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Debbie Critchfield, is here in attendance. #idpreps

@KaizenQB We would still have the IHSAA transfer rules in place to avoid free agency. West Ada has had school choice if enrollment/capacity allowed it. But we still followed the the IHSAA expectations for varsity sports.

Does this have any bearing on transfers and the IHSAAs rules? @Coach_Warr Based on my reading of the text of the law, I could not find any provisions that specifically address transferring for athletics with no penalty.

@mmoss_10 Good question. Boise Sports Talk does a good job on social media. We are trying to share more standings through sicathletics on instagram.

@Coach_Warr Hey Warr. Where is a good news outlet to follow local high school sports without a paywall? I’m always looking for schedules, standings etc. but can’t find a good source most of the time.
