Today’s June 15, the teachers and pupils were abducted May 15, it’s exactly one month today that husbands have not seen their wives, wives haven’t seen their husbands, Parents haven’t seen their Children.
Life has been lost, the government keeps promising, will the families survive on empty rhetorics?
When exactly will Oriire be rescued?
The abduction happened right before I left for Naija for holidays, spent 24 days in Nigeria and I’ve since returned to Europe, yet, nothing’s changed, people’s mental health have turned worse, the ripple effect is beyond the Oriire46, thousands of others are affected in a way or two.
Government must act now!

May Allah bless and reward Sis Memunah abundantly. I didn't even know her when we were in school, but years later, she walked me through preparing for my exam.
She sent me all the materials she used, making me spend just about 20% of what I budgeted for study materials.
She dedicated so so much of her time. There were days I would message or call her at odd times with tears in my eyes coz the topics were just difficult and she would break them down so easily and never made me feel like a burden.

As the sun set today at Maghrib, we welcome the blessed month of Muharram and the beginning of a new Islamic year.
Muharram is one of the sacred months and a beautiful opportunity to renew our intentions, increase in worship, and draw closer to Allah.
Among the great opportunities in this month are:
- Fasting on the Day of ‘Ashura (10th Muharram) - a means for expiation of the previous year’s sins.
- Fasting the Ayaamul Beedh (13th, 14th & 15th of the lunar month) from the beloved Sunnahs of our Prophet.
