Of course it leaves Spain players free at the back post, but deal with the problem.

People talking about a Bronze mistake, yeah perhaps. You could see she wanted teammates in advance of the ball and didn’t give it square. But the 3 centre backs (Bright closest) not getting across to challenge. 😩 #Lionesses #WorldCup2023 #WorldCupFinal

VAR penalty decisions are an absolute blight on the game. No consistency or common sense. What is a defender supposed to do? 2 already in this World Cup. Feel sorry for Docherty - body position looked totally natural. #ENGSCO

Foundation Phase - How, What & Why?
Great example of peer to peer learning! How do you incorporate this into your coaching sessions?! Reply with a practical example or strategy you use as coaches!

@jon_townsend3 @originalstumac Indeed. Without observation, feedback/instruction, “chunking” and repetition, just “playing” is useless. Golf “feedback” is fascinating. Musical “feedback” is even more interesting. Break it down, build it back up. Player/coach psychology is crucial, too. So many elements!

@originalstumac Not sure if refs even have the backing of UEFA/FIFA to make tough calls. The French referee who tripped/‘kicked’ a player in Ligue 1 got sacked despite years of exemplary work. Sadly, the “respect” campaign is farcical.

Interesting views on LFC vs PSG. Loathe play-acting and deceitful behaviour and fully-aware it is a typical British view. In Spain, tricking the referee is viewed as an art form by some. If you can get away with it as a player, then why wouldn’t you? Player, respect or FIFA prob?

Latest Shot Stopper Rankings. Slightly concerning for Tottenham that Lloris' form looks unsustainable...

Four tiers. Bottom = relegation. Top = promotion. Top of the highest tier = you qualify for a knockout competition, where you play other top-tier winners to decide an overall winner. If anyone still doesn't get the Nations League they presumably don't get club football either

@insidewrite1957 @MacDavidsonkk For sure! Even face to face, followed by handing out the letter and then following up the next week for any questions about the letter. Different communication styles work best for different people. Takes a confident coach/person to do this, but the first step is always hardest!

@CoachingTactics @MacDavidsonkk Personally I think face to face is better (backed up by a written manifesto for sure) But face to face, and it isn’t always easy, allows questions, allows for the ‘why we’re doing what we’re doing’ And again IMO face to face I think you get more buy in 👍😊⚽️

The coach can set the environment for the team So yes, it would be best practice at the start of the season if the coach gathered all the parents and told them what was expected in terms of match day behaviour 👍😊⚽️

Could we consider starting with a game and then, with small changes to the constraints and conditions, carry on with a game🤔🤔
