He was sentenced to prison and ordered to pay restitution in the hundreds of millions of dollars… …until Donald Trump pardoned him. But why did Trump pardon a known scam artist? It could be because of his multimillion-dollar donations to the Trump campaign, or maybe the fact that he hired Pam Bondi’s brother as his attorney. Now, not only did he serve very little (if any) jail time, but he also doesn’t have to pay back the money he scammed. ALSO, he just launched a new startup—with no working product—again.
