I’ve had a great weekend at Alton Towers. Ok, the resort is not perfect right now, but spending time with some of my favourite people, seeing lots of friendly faces, getting back on the rides & even enjoying a few pints in the sun was exactly what I needed! 🔥☀️🎢🍺

@onetrainops Felt like it was ripping my face off at the end of the helix!

@CoasterGiant i don't remember it ever being taken that fast, that's for sure - felt like a completely different ride compared to the last couple of years

Anyone else think that them few seconds going into the bottom of the helix and then the zero-g roll are more forceful and intense than ever? ……or am I just getting old?

@TTTourists This situation is almost as serious as when the hotel stopped serving pizza on opening day

Serious issues on the smiler today concerning the baggage system. Staff can’t get people into the air gates quick enough and it’s resulting in seats and even a whole train going completely empty. Not good when the ride has a nearly 2 hour queue.

@Luke4152 Not sure yet, Thursday and Friday should be pretty quiet, fingers crossed the sun comes out for you too!
