I don't know why Bay fans assume that everything that was made prior to 2007 was G1. Probably because that's when the franchise still had a consistent and good artstyle, rather than all of the garbage designs from the Bayverse, Animated, and Prime.

They're constantly saying that only G1 is getting new stuff while conveniently ignoring all of the cool new figures of the Beast Wars, Unicron Trilogy, and Japanese characters. But since THEY'RE not being given anything, then it's G1's fault.

I have seen way too many Bayverse fans complaining about G1. If you're a fan of Bayformers, but constantly talk shit about G1, you're not a real Transformers fan.

@MeuchelArren I like One, yet I agree. I don't think that movie was the masterpiece people say it is. Personally, I dislike it when Megatron is given a tragic origin story, and I hate having Optimus and Megatron being friends before the war. That latter one makes the lore feel way too small.
