Fallout 2 can be a pretty goofy game. It has a bunch of pop culture references and sight gags. However, the overall game is not comedic. When you say it is, you are lying. Do you know why? Because Fallout 2 also has: > Myron Attempting S*xual Assault against the player. > Widespread Slavery (including Child Slavery) > Forced Prostitution ( Slaves—especially women—are explicitly used as s*x slaves in places like the Stables and the Bishop family’s operations). > Genocide: The Enclave plans to release a modified FEV strain to kill all humans not genetically “pure,” wiping out nearly everyone on Earth. > R*pe, coercion, incest, and political blackmail are openly implied and sometimes confirmed through dialogue with the Bishop Family. > Marcus’ History of Atrocities during the time of the Unity. > R*pe as an Implied Wasteland Reality: Multiple NPC stories strongly imply sexual violence as commonplace. > Companions and friendly NPCs can be sold into slavery or executed through player choice. > Widespread brutality: the Enclave massacres Arroyo in multiple endings, abducting or killing its population. Please, use your brain. Also consider the art direction, music and aesthetics of Fallout 2. It's time to stop lying about what Fallout truly was.
