PRESIDENT TRUMP'S MESSAGE ON THE FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH
"Today, I send my best wishes to Catholics and other Christians celebrating the Feast of Saint Joseph—the earthly father of Jesus Christ and one of the most revered figures in the Bible.
Saint Joseph was a model father, husband, and worker, as well as a living embodiment of Christian virtue. He spent his life working tirelessly, without accolades or recognition, to protect his family and raise the Son of God. Through every trial and tribulation, Saint Joseph led his family with dignity, strength, and moral courage. In the face of uncertainty and danger, time and again, he valiantly surrendered to God’s will with faith, fortitude, humility, and obedience—playing a central role in the life of Jesus Christ and the history of salvation.
Saint Joseph also holds a distinct place in American culture, especially for the Italian-American community. Every March 19, Catholics in New Orleans, Louisiana, and throughout the Nation construct beautiful altars in his honor. From the factories of St. Louis, Missouri, and the deserts of Santa Fe, New Mexico, to churches, chapels, and homes all across our country, Catholics have credited him with extraordinary miracles. He is recognized as the head of the Holy Family, the patron saint of workers, and the “Terror of Demons,” and he remains revered by countless citizens for his tremendous example of what it means to be a man, father, and husband.
In recent years, our Nation has witnessed the rise of an extremist cultural movement that has sought to weaken the values championed by Saint Joseph. But my Administration is offering a much brighter vision for our rising generation. Instead of indoctrinating our young men with radicalism and hate, we must encourage them to embrace faith, get married, start a family, and raise the next generation of proud, freedom-loving, God-fearing American citizens. Guided by his example, we will never stop fighting for Saint Joseph’s legacy in our homes, churches, culture, and public square.
On his feast day, we honor Saint Joseph’s incredible life, we pay tribute to his countless silent sacrifices, and we vow to forge a radiant American future marked by the timeless values of faith in God, love of family, and devotion to human freedom."

@Brosephos Went back and forth with this guy a few weeks ago. Not surprised.

Imagine calling yourself a Christian, slandering Peter, and stating your fake religion is the one true faith because you read your KJV.
Evangelicals aren't Christians...

@MarkDavis Covid. Administrators would pack the wagon without thinking about the mule.
English

Teachers, help me out: what’s the main reason for this?
Steve Magness@stevemagness
In 2008, 62% of teachers said they were very satisfied with their job. In 2022, that dropped to 12%. We've got a serious problem brewing in education...
English

@AustinKayar @waredog777 @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff Can you believe our very first Pope denied Jesus three times?
We are a broken people and Christ, through His church, provides that refuge. No matter how evil a Pope is.
The Church Herself is perfect; the people in it are not.
English

@CocoCars @waredog777 @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff You need to look no further than the history of what you claim to be the literal Holy God’s church on earth, directed over and over by evil doing popes. If you can’t understand that yet then you are ignorant or spiritually blinded because it’s blatantly not in line with Jesus.
English

LOL. My son asked if I knew who @WesleyLHuff was. I said yes. He asked if Wes was legit. I said yes. He sighed. “I thought he was one of those podcast gymbros who pretend to know stuff they don’t and lure in guys my age to false teachings.” He gets it. He didn’t get Wes. Now he does.
English

@waredog777 @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff Sorry. Hadn’t seen this.
Papal infallibility is an interesting one. Takes some time but the roads eventually get there. On matters of the faith, yes the Pope and magisteriums teachings are infallible. He is still a sinner unworthy of Gods grace, like you and me.
English

@CocoCars @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff My church was built on the teachings of Jesus, not the Pope. By the way, do you think the Pope is infallible?
English

@waredog777 @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff Well, it sounds like you have heard arguments from both sides and have arrived at where you are now. I admire that. If you’d like any clarification moving forward, please feel free to DM. I can offer non-judgmental answers to general curiosities. Good luck!
English

@CocoCars @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff If you gave me evidence in the New Testament, I would of course look at it, is it going to change my mind? Probably have the same chance of changing your mind that Mary was fallible. Or that she had other sons.
English

@waredog777 @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff That changed today! I was raised Protestant and converted in college. Started off episcopal, then non-denom, then “agnostic”, then joined the one true church!
English

@LVDGuy @CocoCars @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff I have been in the Protestant church for 30 years and I don't know one person who has become Catholic. Conversely, I have several friends who have left the Catholic Church. Grace is freeing my friend.
English

@waredog777 @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff If I gave you evidence in scripture, implicit or direct, would that change your mind, or nah?
English

@CocoCars @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff Praying to saints, praying to Mary, Seven Sacraments, Works, not grace. Those aren't of the Bible, but man made. I wish you nothing but the best, but you can't earn your way to Heaven.
English

@CocoCars @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff Maybe he is not charitable to Catholic teachings because the teachings are not scriptural.
English

@waredog777 @LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff Wes certainly is strong in his knowledge but he is not charitable to Catholic teachings. Would be nice for him to be challenged in this regard.
English

@LVDGuy @EWErickson @WesleyLHuff Trust me, you don't want any part in a debate with Huff, especially regarding Catholicism.
English

@mark_petereit @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Slogans can only get you so far. When you want to discuss that, feel free to DM me. Have a great weekend!
English

@CocoCars @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Christ forgives.
The apostles share the gospel — that Christ forgives.
English

We don't reject confession. We confess our sins to God directly. We reject going to priests for absolution of sins. That's heresy.
𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚕𝚎 𝚘𝚗𝚎 ♱🇻🇦@BillArnoldTeach
You don’t reject confession because it’s unbiblical. You reject it because it’s uncomfortable.
English

@mark_petereit @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 I asked whether Christ can work through the apostles in forgiving sins and didn’t get an answer. Catholics agree Christ is the mediator. The question is why Jesus would say, “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven,” if the apostles had no real authority in that matter. Answer?
English

@mark_petereit @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Then can Christ work through the Apostles to forgive sins, yes or no?
English

@CocoCars @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 John 20 shows authority to declare forgiveness through the gospel.
They never told people to seek absolution from them.
Faith in Christ is how forgiveness is received.
English

@mark_petereit @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Acts 10 tells us forgiveness comes through Christ and we would agree. Jn 20 shows Christ giving the apostles authority connected to forgiving sins. So the source is always Christ, but He chose to exercise that authority through His apostles. Otherwise why hand over the authority?
English

@CocoCars @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 The apostles never told people to seek that forgiveness through them.
They preached, “Everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness” (Acts 10:43).
Ministers declare the gospel; faith in Jesus receives the forgiveness.
English

@mark_petereit @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 This verse does not negate the passage from John. In both cases Christ is the one who forgives.
English

@CocoCars @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 The apostles never told people to seek forgiveness through them. They consistently preached, “Everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness” (Acts 10:43).
Ministers can proclaim the gospel, but forgiveness is received by faith in Jesus, not through a priest.
English

@mark_petereit @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Christ is the one forgiving, but He chose to exercise that forgiveness through the authority He gave the apostles. When you got married, I'm certain you had someone officiate your wedding. They aren't God, but served as the minister through whom God blessed your marriage.
English

@CocoCars @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Jesus gave the apostles authority to proclaim forgiveness through the gospel, not replace Him as mediators.
The same apostles preached, “Through His name everyone who believes receives forgiveness” (Acts 10:43).
Forgiveness comes through faith in Christ, not through a priest.
English

@mark_petereit @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Jesus, at the end of the book of John, breathes the Holy Spirit onto the Apostles and gives them the authority to forgive sins, as well as binding and loosing power to the early church.
English

@CocoCars @SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Jesus never told believers to confess sins to a priest.
Scripture says “If we confess our sins, HE is faithful to forgive us”.
And there is ONE mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Forgiveness comes from Christ Himself, not through a booth.

English

@SwamTheTiber @Truth_matters20 Priests office was done away with so your whole analysis is done. We have one Priest, on high in Heaven advocating for us.
