@RudyHavenstein @fundstrat Yes, but Tom's not talking about that separate issue here.

@CodeComplete85 @fundstrat Do you not understand that people must survive on price levels?
English

@RudyHavenstein @fundstrat Do you not understand what a change in rate is?

@MJTruthUltra Social Security's model is based off a culture/birth rate that no longer exists. It needs to be dealt with; I could even understand doing a full repeal right now
English

Unbelievable…
Rand Paul wants you to be 70 Years old before you can collect social security, OR, raise everyone’s social security tax to 25% to keep it at 67.
The life expectancy for an American today is 78.4 years. So he wants Americans to enjoy only 8 years of peace (if they’re lucky) before they die.
All the money we’ve been putting into that social security pot over the decades… where the heck is it?
Our politicians have robbed us blind.

@Revolver9060 @DudespostingWs First, it was lift with the legs, not the back; putting load on the spine was dangerous. Then, we realized we need to strengthen our backs, but keep that spine neutral/straight when loaded. Finally, we've recognized training loaded bending gives extra resilience
English

@MikeZaccardi Isn't it like 20% by market cap tho?
English

@Revolver9060 @DudespostingWs If he's never done any lift like this before and suddenly jumped into doing this, sure, but the body adapts to the stresses put on it, if progressed gradually.
This is how people HAD to squat before the invention of racks too

@DudespostingWs This is the Steinborn Lift. This is how people had to squat until someone invented the squat rack

@NoContextHumans Mechanical safeties!!!
Bars, chains, straps, whatever. If the bar comes out of your hands and drops, mechanical safeties will save you when a spotter has no chance

Fellas, this is why you always need a spotter x.com/DudespostingWs…

@fs_insight Market really overreacted today. Good buying opportunity

We expect stocks to finally exit the "zone of hesitation" after Dec FOMC rate decision. Even a "hawkish" cut supports a YE rally. 🏁🐎
At the start of December, our view was that equity markets were entering a “zone of hesitation” book-ended by the Nov jobs report (Dec 6th) and Dec FOMC rate decision (12/18) as this gauntlet of macro data was likely to cause investors to be sidelined. This has in fact been the case, as stocks have been rangebound since Dec 6th.

@timpierotti1 @RyanDetrick I'd actually like to see that, especially the 10yr

@RyanDetrick Now do 3,5 and 10 yr returns. The scatter chart looks very different

Archive it folks
While I do envision a more difficult 1H 2025, predicting a bear market I am not and any such prediction is simply speculating on exigency/endogeny which doesn’t hold merit with trending macro-market data. It’s just not there, hence speculation, which, who knows

Business Insider's @kelly_cloonan recently sat down with Chief US Investment Strategist, @DougPeta, to better understand why stocks are headed for a bear market in the first half of 2025. Doug's 3 drivers? 1. Slowdown in consumer momentum 2. Labor market softening 3. Heightened risks from historically high stock valuations Doug expands on these points in this full article: markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/st… Interested in more insights from BCA? @PicturesFoIder Some people are filming their lifts to look for technique issues or to figure out what muscles are limiting their main lifts.
Yes, there's a lot of abuse, but I've seen some people with permanently-awful lifting technique that just have no idea, because they never filmed

@TheRealSergioGG @AFpost It's not no sound, but it's pretty quiet and easily mistaken for something else besides a gunshot
English

@AFpost interesting his gun did not cycle he had to manually rack the round .
this tells me that the round did not have enough power to cycle the gun , i am guessing having an under power round with a suppressor would make no sound at all ..
the assessing knew what he was doing .
