3+ years in the making-and it’s time to do the damn thing... Introducing Code Corith: my new tech persona, where I’ll share my indie dev journey, build projects in public, and nerd out over cool software & hardware. I originally had this vision in 2020, but I never started documenting because I was too deep in the “learning & building” loop. But now, I've got my blue check and I’m ready to fire up the X feed 👀, turn on the cameras 🤳, and show you what I’m working on, what I’m learning, and how I’m tackling new challenges openly and head-on. You can expect tech insights, project updates, and the occasional live coding stream right here on X. As an indie developer, I carry a unique perspective and am on a similar journey as a lot of you. I find it so fascinating that Ai and LLMs seem to be talked about in such a yes or no type of way. “All it does it write slop. There’s no reason to use it. Let me know when it’s over and no one mentions it again” “I haven’t slept in months. I’ve shipped 100 things each making 1 million MRR. If you don’t learn to use it, you’re gone tomorrow, bud” Like it’s so clearly in the middle lol. Very much a useful tool. Still requires human hands and mind to use it effectively. It’s like one dude being shown a hammer and hanging things up with it around the house. But, then starts hammering screws as well and is like “wow can’t believe you guys aren’t using this thing for opening cans too” And the other person only watched someone open a can with a hammer and was like “lmao yall are stupid hammers aren’t gonna make it. Just use a rock like we’ve been doing” When in reality the construction worker is just like “wow I love this tool it makes parts of my job so much easier. I don’t need unlimited hammers but I’ll definitely take a couple”

It’s not really about the models to me. They both are very useful. But I like using codex a lot more. I trust it more. I was keeping a 5x Max plan to Claude tho cause I still like it, and use it every so often. But with all the switch up confusion surrounding the sub, usage, banning, blah blah, it’s just not worth it for me to keep it. Not because I feel some type of way about what they’re doing, but because I jsut don’t want to have to worry about it. If OpenAI has to eventually roll back usage too etc. then so be it, I just trust that they will do it in a more clear and less tiresome way.

I can't help but feel personally burned by the Claude Code changes announced today. We put so much work into wrapping the (atrocious) Claude Agent SDK in T3 Code. It was the ONLY path they supported, so we made it work. It was hell. Now our users are getting their rate limits cut by 40x, despite us doing everything right. I listened to the Claude Code team. I had my issues with their direction, but I trusted them and took them at their word. I will never make that mistake again. Until we see significant change, it is safe to assume any statement from an Anthropic employee is a lie on a timer. The rug will be pulled, no matter how many promises are made beforehand.

Finally happened. Claude code —dangerously-skip-permissions appears to have nuked my computer. I think it was probably worth it. My efficiency was legendary. (I will be more careful though)

when i voice prompt, i yap for 10 minutes straight and change my mind 3 times in the middle of the yap, and send it without reading yap enough tokens for the picture to be complete, it understands well when you change your mind in the middle. ai is smarter than you think

i feel like i don’t think linearly enough for speech to text prompting. i frequently change wording as i write so the pressure of having to voice the right prompt first try is frustrating

Fun fact, you can run through 60% of a weekly ChatGPT Pro codex rate limit by using goal mode with GPT 5.5 xhigh fast in ~18 hours And frankly, that’s pretty generous
