@Hysterixl I haven't followed his videos for a while now, but @beneater has some amazing videos on the subject - I highly recommend checking his resources out!

@CodeNMore If you don’t have time to personally make the vids, to serve as a substitute so we can keep learning would you mind providing maybe some good sources that we can read/watch that have additional material? I have found some other YouTube channels but not much reading.

Quite a lot has happened, between most episodes of the gamedev tutorial series getting lost after creation. I've learned not to make promises anymore - but are people still interested in a gamedev series? What type of game? Language? Engine?

@CodeNMore Dude, it's your YouTube channel, do whatever you want with it. If you want my opinion though, I'd say it's out of these: options[3] = {Continue your current Java series, make a new Java series, make a Godot series (if you know it)};

I promise, I'm doing work on the game programming series!

I'm alive! Still not much time to make videos, but very slowly I'm getting more videos stockpiled for release!

I hate to bear bad news, but as some may have guessed, video progress has fallen behind what I thought it would be at this point...updates to come soon :(

@shayne_lesa I wanted to use JavaFX, but in efforts to keep it compatible with older Java versions I've once again used swing :/

@CodeNMore Will this series use javafx or will it use swing?

Alright, time for a little tease of the new Game Dev Tutorial Series...

@mage_g4 @lil_cold_ The RPG series wasn't planned out too well, so I'm beginning the new series with a completed product to both motivate people and myself to finish the series with a playable and expandable product, that's coded the best way possible.

@lil_cold_ @CodeNMore We got a long way in the tile game series. I guess my worry is that we’d start over, get a long way and you’d stop again. :( I will still totally follow along though!

So, an update for those who still care: the new planned Java RPG series is still being made, and I project episode 1 to be a holiday gift soon...! Thanks for your support!
